June McVeigh Rosenberg

June McVeigh Rosenberg passed away with her husband at her side July 6, 2017 at the age of 83 years after a 2 year battle with cancer.

She will be greatly missed by many from many areas of her life, but especially by her husband Fred Rosenberg; son Kim McVeigh (Pat Meakin); daughter Pepi Cornyn; grandchildren Bruce (Renee) Cornyn and Kerrie-Ann McCauley; many siblings; and her 7 great grandkids.

June had an active, fulfilling life as an athlete and caregiver.  She was born in Weymouth, England, but resided in Summerland, BC for over 30+ years. June always thought of others with love especially in her career at Parkdale Lodge in Summerland. Her sense of humor lasted until her last moments with us.

A celebration of June’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park at the corner of Wharton and Kelly Ave in Summerland, BC. A luncheon will be provided.  Please bring a chair.
