Nancy Gunning Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Dorothy Gunning on  March 16, 2019 at The Hamlets, Penticton, BC.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband Ron Gunning and is survived by her daughters Ann Karlstrom (Don) and Brenda Robb (Mike); grandchildren Samantha Jackson (Scott), Elliott Jackson (Brooklyn), Jason Robb (Naomi), and Adrian Robb (Shawna); five brothers; and one sister.

Nancy was born April 24, 1931, in London, England. She was the oldest and feistiest of seven children. In 2000, Nancy and her husband Ron decided to be closer to their children and grandchildren and made the move from England to Summerland. She was later blessed with three great grandchildren: Jaxon and  Huxley Hartney and Damian Robb.

Nancy absolutely adored her great grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and spoiling them with love and goodies. She was an amazing knitter. She also loved to read and could often be found sitting on her deck with her nose in a good book.

Nancy was a strong, feisty, loyal, sweet, generous women who will be lovingly missed by her family.
