Shirley (Allen) Bige

Shirley Bige went to her eternal home April 7, 2017 at the age of 82 years. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her children Linda (Robert) of Ucluelet, British Columbia, Tamás (Jennifer) of Surrey, British Columbia, and Marton of Victoria, British Columbia; siblings ‘Bill’ William III of Port Moody, British Columbia and Sheila (Joseph) of Pennsylvania, USA; and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Marjorie M. Allen, father William II M. Allen, sister-in-law Joan, and grandson Emeri (2015) at the age of 29.

Shirley’s love of life and people touched the lives of all who knew her; she was well loved for her humor, generous spirit, compassion and thoughtfulness.

The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summerland Baptist Church, 10318 Elliott Street, Summerland, British Columbia with Pastor Larry Schram officiating. The interment will precede at Canyon View Cemetery, Summerland, British Columbia.
