Violet Hadley

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Violet (Nan) Hadley - 86 years, on August 5, 2017.

She leaves behind her daughter Janice (Grant), her two grandsons Christopher (Lacie) and Jeffrey (Jen), three great grandchildren, her sister Ruby and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Stuart Hadley in 1998.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, her husbands career moved the family to B.C., Ontario and Alberta.  Violet and Stuart eventually retired and settled down in Penticton, B.C. in 1988.

Violet will always be remembered for her love of hosting gatherings with family and friends, her sense of humour and feisty character.  She will be forever missed.

In respecting Violets wishes, there will be no service held.  An internment and family gathering will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations to the South Okanagan Women in Need Society (SOWINS), Unit #102, 1027 Westminster Avenue West, Penticton, B.C. V2A 1L4

Our family wishes to extend our gratitude for the loving care she received during her stay at the Trinity Care Center in Penticton, B.C.
