Alice 'Maud' Little Obituary
Maud Little passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 at the age of 94 years.
She is remembered and sadly missed by her children, Heather Van Ryswyk (Richard) of Naramata, BC, Gord Little (Diana) of Calgary, AB, Dan Little of Calgary, AB, and Mike Little of Penticton, BC; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Maud is sadly predeceased by her husband, Ron; daughter, Louise Wright; oldest granddaughter, Janine; her parents, Charles and Delphine Meriam; and 1 brother, Bud.
She moved to Penticton in 1942 with her mother and brother from the Creighton Valley area. She started working at OK Telephone company in 1944 at the age of 16 as a switchboard operator and later up in Revelstoke until 1957.
Her future husband, Ron and her met at a dance hall on Main Street in Penticton in 1953. They got married in 1956 in Vernon and had 5 children.
Maud enjoyed gardening and reading. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the Penticton Regional Hospital staff for the amazing care of Maud and the support from the doctors and nurses.

Maud’s urn will be interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Penticton on Saturday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Homes, 1258 Main Street, Penticton.
