Delfino Andreucci Obituary

Delfino Andreucci passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, at the age of 71 years. He is survived and sadly missed by his siblings Maria Zol and Rudy Andreucci (Alexandra) of Summerland, BC; nieces, nephews, uncles, and their families; Dino Zol (Karen), Angela Laverdiere (Mike), Diano Zol (Connie), Joe Andreucci, Andy Andreucci (Amber), Danny Andreucci (Marta), Uncle Pete Biagoni (Maria), as well as missed and remembered by his extended family in Tuscany, Italy. Sadly predeceased by his father Angelo, mom Anna, brother Luciano, and brother-in-law Lou Zol.

Delfo was born in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Province of Lucca, Italy, on October 30, 1951, and immigrated to Summerland with his family in November 1956. He remained in Summerland until his passing.

Delfo was quite a character. He had a good sense of humour and was pretty black-and-white with his opinions. He was kind, generous, and very dedicated to his family. He loved his nephews and nieces, though he could get them riled up with his antics.

He had many friends in town and enjoyed socializing with them. Delfo was a history buff and was particularly knowledgeable about the history of war. He enjoyed driving, visiting family, and having coffee at his favourite cafes.

Delfo had been in extended care for 5 years at Dr. Andrew Pavillion with several medical ailments. As his health deteriorated, he required more care. The family is sincerely grateful to all the staff at Dr. Andrew Pavillion for the care, attention, and compassion provided to Delfo. A special thank you to Dr. Krabbe as well for the care and guidance provided to not only Delfo but to our entire local family.

Delfo will be missed but never forgotten and we are blessed to have had him in our lives.

A private family memorial will take place at a later date.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
