Holly Wertz Obituary

It is with great sadness that announce the passing of Holly Mae Wertz in Cawston, BC on September 25, 2022.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Jennifer) Wertz and Leonard Wertz; grandchildren, Nya, Alex, Kaylee and Gwen; sisters, Diana, Beverly, Peggy and brothers, Bob, John, Gerald and Elam.

Holly is predeceased by her parents, John and Dorothy Wills.

Holly was born and raised in Cawston, BC and had a great love of the country and the outdoors. In her younger years she was an avid camper and loved to travel around the province visiting ghost towns and other interesting and historical places. She had a passion for reading, drawing, colouring and painting and loved to make art. She worked for many years for social services in Penticton and was very dedicated to helping people in the community.

Holly touched lives of many people and enriched the lives of all she touched. She will be sorely missed.

A Funeral Service will be held for her at the Providence Funeral Homes, 1258 Main Street, Penticton, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Cawston Cemetery.
