James (Jim) MacDonald Obituary

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Allan MacDonald of Summerland BC, (formerly Toronto ON) on March 27, 2020 after a battle with liver disease at the age of 65 years. Jim was born in Toronto ON, on March 19, 1955.

Jim was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, more accurately Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. His entire adult life was centered around activities involving his Harleys. If he was not repairing or trading a Harley, he was riding. He rode his bike coast to coast, from the Atlantic shores of Newfoundland to the Pacific waters in British Columbia as well as into every Territory in Canada. When he wasn’t riding, he was traveling to places beyond. One of his favorites was annual trips to Mexico.

Jim had a very outgoing personality and was always surrounded by friends and family. He enjoyed a beer, backyard bar-b-ques and good times.

Jim is survived by and will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Lisa Reimche and husband Ryan, Summerland BC, Amanda Martins and husband Vincent, Lake Country BC, Grandson Wesley Martins, Granddaughter Shelby Reimche, brothers Ernest MacDonald, San Antonio Texas, Dwaine MacDonald, Toronto ON, Michael MacDonald, Hamilton ON, Timothy MacDonald, Owen Sound ON, Sister Marlene MacDonald, Toronto ON and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his Father Ernald MacDonald and Mother Mary (Adams) MacDonald.

At Jim’s request, there will be no service or funeral, but a “Celebration of Life” to be held later.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, a funny story or memory of Jim on the tribute wall would be much appreciated.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
