Joseph Laramee Obituary

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Joseph (Joe) Laramee, at the age of 92 years. Joe passed away at home in Victoria, BC on September 18, 2021, with his loving family at his side.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Margaret (Mario deceased) and their children, Patrizia (Devon), Fiorella (Tyler); his son, Dennis; his son, Robert (Kim) and thier children, Tyler, Robbie, Ambre (Troy), and Lance; his daughter, Sherry (Ron) and their children, Stephanie (Peter) and Matthew (Katie); his son, David (Rosemary) and their children, Tanya (Jeff), Christopher, Jessica (Louis), Aaron and Elizabeth; his daughter-in-law, Debra; his siblings, Monica (Joseph deceased), and Alice (Ken deceased); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe is predeceased by his wife, Anne; sons, Lawrence and Kerry; his parents, Avila and Lucille Laramee; his siblings, Bernice, Terry, Rene and Alma.

Joe was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on April 26, 1929, and married Anne on October 7, 1950. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2020.

Joe was a much-loved father and will be greatly missed as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Penticton, BC on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. To watch a recording of the service, please click the link below.
