Lorne David Adams

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Lorne David Adams, much loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 20, 2021 at the age of 72.

Remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Jeri; his children Tracey Arnold (Jay) and Trina Warren (Craig), as well as 3 grandchildren – granddaughters Maddi and Tyler Arnold and grandson Zach Warren.  He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Bernice (Wayne) Roberts. 

Lorne was predeceased by his parents Harold and Ina, and brother Clifford Adams.

Lorne’s passion for giving back to his community was only second to the love he had for his family.  His entrepreneurial spirit, along with a strong work ethic, provided a wonderful life for his family.  He loved and looked forward to the many family vacations to hot destinations taken over the years. 

Lorne was a committed Rotarian where he developed life-long friendships and gave back to the community for over 25 years.  We were all proud of his Paul Harris Fellow which recognizes a Rotarian’s contribution to The Rotary Foundation.

Lorne thrived on competition, whether it was golf, crib, or curling.  We are not sure what he loved more, the actual round of golf or the play by play afterwards where he would replay his round, shot by shot, in such detail it was like you were there with him.

Lorne accepted his disease with dignity and took it all in stride often saying, “it is what it is”.  He was well loved at Village by the Station where they lovingly referred to him as a gentle giant.  We are grateful for the support and excellent care he received during his time at the Village.

Lorne will forever be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and his love for life.
