Robert Lee Wertz

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wertz in Penticton, October 6, 2021. He is survived by his sons Robert (Jennifer) Wertz, Leonard Wertz, grandchildren Nya, Alexander, Kaylee and Gwen, brothers Marvin Wertz, Glen (Bonnie) Wertz, and sister Sandy (Gary) Ellis. Robert is predeceased by his parents Donald and Mabel Wertz, and brother Dwane Wertz. He was born and raised in Summerland and spent pretty much all his working life at the Summerland Packing House. He spent many of those years as a forklift operator. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and darts. He will be missed by those that knew him. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at Providence Funeral Home (1258 Main St, Penticton), October 21, 2021, at 1pm.
