It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William ‘Bill’ Flegel who passed away peacefully on July 28, 2020 at the age of 88. He will always be remembered for his passion and craftsmanship in violin making.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Rose (d. 2006). He is survived by his three children: Terrance (Tammy), Anna, and Cori (Rick); and his five grandchildren: Christina, Lacey, Justan, Melissa, and Kyle.

Cremation has taken place and a private graveside gathering will be held at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and support staff of 2South at Kelowna General Hospital for their compassion and care of Bill in his final days.
