Alfred Peterson

It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of Alfred Peterson on February 2, 2019.  Al was born in Ashcroft January 28, 1941.  He was long time resident of Penticton.  Al was well known for his bartending for many years at Slack Alice Pub. He loved to ride his bike around Penticton.  He was very involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Society as his wife and son both were affected by it. He was predeceased by his wife Verna, his son Ken and his daughter in law Teresa.  He leaves behind his two grandson Vaughn (Lee-ann) and Troy (Lotty).  There will be a Celebration of Life for Al on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Providence Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street in Penticton at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society of Canada.
