Bert Troyer , Bert just celebrated his 93rd birthday at the Hamlets where he resided for the past few years. He was predeceased by his wife Rosemary of 42 years (2013). He leaves behind a large family including Rosemary's (Thornley) clan and the Troyer clan including: Donna Troyer, Mona Troyer, Carol Yvonne Turner, Taryn Troyer Brady, Kelly Troyer and Robin Rozak, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bert was a contractor and owned his own successful backhoe business. He was also the owner of a golf cart business in Penticton.

Bert was an avid curler and had gained a reputation for being one of the best in the valley. He loved golfing at Twin Lakes too. He was a well rounded senior athlete.
