WILLIAM BAIRD

William Baird, 69, of Penticton BC, passed peacefully at home June 4, 2017.

Bill is survived by his wife Sue of 46 years, son James, and many family and dear friends. Bill was a loving husband, father, and friend to all.

Bill loved time spent with family, friends, and community. He was a local businessman and avid volunteer spending much time supporting Special Olympics BC - Penticton, RECOPE - Summerland, and the Penticton and District Society for Community Living. He enjoyed spending summers at Fraser Lake. A celebrant of people's abilities, Bill was always there to help with repair projects, crafty modifications or whatever else he could assist with.

A special thank you to Dr. Kooy and Hannah, the ALS Society of BC, the Palliative Care Team with Moog & Friends Hospice House, and Providence Funeral Home. Respecting Bill's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
