Brenda Janet Rhoda Bockman

Bockman, Brenda Janet Rhoda (nee Roulston):  Passed away in her home suddenly on October 11, 2017 at the age of 70.  Brenda was an avid gardener who revelled in spending time outdoors in her backyard.  She enjoyed cooking meals for her friends and family, she could often be found happily reading a good book.  Brenda enjoyed serving her church.  In the days before her husband passed, she took pleasure in sailing with him on Okanagan Lake.  Brenda adored her children and grandchildren and regularly travelled to spend time with them.  Brenda will be lovingly remembered as a maternal, compassionate, generous, and faithful woman who brought happiness and comfort into the lives of her loved ones.  She is survived by her son Darren (Amy), daughter Tracy (Abel), her grandchildren Ethan, Adrien, Martine, and Molly, her sisters Joan and Sharron (George).  Brenda is predeceased by her husband Roger, her parents Hugh Donovan and Janet Roulston, her brother-in-law Dal and her nephew, Greg.  A funeral service will be held at Okanagan Falls Community Baptist Church, 1356 McLean Creek Rd, on Saturday, October 21 at 1:00 P.M.  Arrangements in the care of Providence Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street, Penticton.
