Francine M. Daviau passed away with her partner Bob by her side, September 20, 2019 at the age of 58 years after a valiant effort.
She will be remembered and sadly missed by her loving partner Bob Duck; daughter Sydney Smith; siblings Sylvie (Ryan) of Sudbury, Ontario, Carole (Daniel) and Deni (Bradford), both of Vancouver, British Columbia, Patrick (Diane) of St. Williams, Ontario, Lorraine (Aurel) of Timmins, Ontario, and Gaetan (Monique) of Chemisford, Ontario; and stepmother Simone of Timmins, Ontario. She was predeceased by parents Albert and Jeanne-d’Arc; brother Paul; and sister Estelle (Germain).
Francine was a caring, compassionate, generous person who always put others before herself. Her smile and energy was known to light up the room. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed. Although she was diagnosed recently with bladder cancer, she was determined to get through it with a positive attitude, but unfortunately suffered a paralyzing stroke from which she was unable to recover.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on November 2, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Providence’s Summerland Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland, BC.
