Giuseppa Alaide (Rocchiccioli) Rossi

Giuseppa Alaide Rossi, born in Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana (Lucca), Italy settled in Summerland in April 1969 with her son and lived with her sister Maria Giannotti and family. She passed away November 19, 2019 at the age of 98 years.

She was predeceased by her daughter Maria Salente Rossi; husband Agostino Americo Rossi; brother Americo Rocchiccioli; and sister Maria Luisa Giannotti.

Giuseppa is survived by son Victor Rossi; granddaughter Christina Rossi; grandson Mitchell Rossi; nephews Giorgio (Susan) Giannotti, Leri (Angela) Giannotti; nieces Elisabeth (Wayne) Nakorniak, Gabriella (Larry) Gutek, Lidia Cleveland, and Lauretta Giannotti.  She will be truly missed.

Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Church of the Holy Child, 14010 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019.  Interment at Canyonview Cemetery, 10316 Canyonview Rd., Summerland, BC will follow the service.
