Helena Marjatta Kankaanpaa

Passed away at the age of 66 years with her family by her side on February 2, 2018. Helena is lovingly remembered by her daughter Tanya (Gord) Bews and children, Angus and Connor, of Penticton; son Tim Kankaanpaa and children, Cole and Kennedy, of Kelowna; daughter Tina (Richard) Walsh and children, Monica and Malcolm of Dryden ON; sisters Anna Ahtila, Hilkka Kivirinta, Ulla (Peter) Grant; best friend Wayne Johnson; cousins, nieces and nephews from Ontario, Finland and Sweden;  Helena was predeceased by Heikki, her beloved husband of 39 years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1370 Church Street, Penticton, BC at 11:00 AM with reception to follow.  Memorial tributes may be made to Jean C.
