As an administrator at Queen's Park School, I had the opportunity and privilege to work with John over a number of years. Upon my arrival at the school, John quickly revealed himself to be a team player, always ready and willing to do more than what was expected. In so doing, he not only captured the respect of the staff, but for me became an important colleague and also an enjoyable friend. Thank you for those special years, John.

John always gave me lots of laughs! He was an amazing custodian in the school district. I remember one day, I had to run a teacher to catch up with a school bus that had left her behind for a school trip. I called on John to cover the office for me. I was the only secretary and no one to fill in. Upon my return I was so thankful for John. He had tended to a child who needed a band aid and a student had come in to lay down in the medical room and had thrown up all over my desk. John had it all cleaned up when I got back. We had an extremely good laugh at the entire circumstance. I hope this story will help in some small way to let you know how much I appreciated John and will miss running in to him around the city.

SO SAD TO LEARN OF MY AGE OLD FRIEND. WE DATE BACK TO JOHNS EARLY YEARS IN PENTICTON ACTIVE IN JAYCEES, ROOM MATE PRIOR TO JOHNS MARRIAGE. THRILLED TO BE HIS BEST MAN. WHILE THE YEARS DRIFTED US APART WE ALWAYS BUMPED INTO EACH OTHER IN PENTICTON. OFTEN TALKED ABOUT OUR MOTOR TRIP TO SO CALIFORNIA IN THE LATE 60'S. GONE WAY TOO SOON, OUR SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO JOHN'S WIFE AND FAMILY.

As a retired teacher- librarian at " Maggie" I remember John as the kindest, most hard working and universally loved school custodian I ever had the pleasure to work with. He brightened the days of anyone he ever came in contact with. Soar with the Angels!
