Judith Cora Madeline (Tolhurst) Tolhurst

Judy Tolhurst passed away peacefully May 15, 2019 at the age of 68 years.  She will be remembered and sadly missed by her husband Doug Rumball; children Tony Dunsdon (Amanda) of Summerland and Jen Stevens (Josh) of Vernon; grandchildren Haeley, Desma, Adielia, Avery, and Avy; and siblings Cindy Thiele, Marge Schlitt, Don Tolhurst, Carol Hagen, Sandi McCreight, and Doug Griffin.

Judy worked as a teacher’s aide for 17 years at Trout Creek Elementary, Summerland Secondary, McDonald Elementary, and Summerland Middle School.  She also volunteered anywhere she could including the schools, soup kitchen, and Summerland United Church, where she was a faithful member of the congregation.

Judy’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Summerland United Church, 13204 Henry Ave., Summerland, BC with Reverend Armand Houle officiating.
