On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Penticton, British Columbia, only a few days short of her 46th birthday, Karen Chamberlain passed away. Karen is survived by her beloved children, Asha and Alex, and their father Matthew Oommen, mother Lee Rothwell of Carman MB, father Robert Chamberlain of Winnipeg, MB, sister Trina Chamberlain (Odeda McNeil) of Winnipeg, MB and her many nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. A wonderful mother who dearly loved her children, Karen will be remembered for her independent character, sense of humour, entrepreneurial spirit and open, generous heart. Her circle of family and friends are devastated by her passing, and pray that she has found peace. A tribute to Karen will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Summerland Resort, 13011 Lakeshore Drive S., Summerland, BC, V0H 1Z1. Flowers should be directed to Summerland Resort c/o Trina Chamberlain.
