Klaus Georg Max Sturze

Died suddenly in his 82nd year on January 8, 2018. He leaves behind his loving wife, Elisabeth and two daughters, Tatjana (Wendy) and Patricia (Keven.)

As a child, Klaus escaped East Germany during the war and grew up in Dusseldorf, where he met Elisabeth while working in the hotel industry. He immigrated to Canada (Saskatchewan), his family followed and he established a pet shop business until 1975. The family moved to Penticton where he opened the Penticton Pet Centre on Main Street. Klaus had also obtained his real estate license. Independent and a dreamer, he was an avid photographer, dog lover, nature enthusiast, author and sailor. Klaus loved camping in the Rockies and cruising to tropical islands.

Klaus’ wishes were for cremation and no service. Condolences may be expressed to the family through the Providence website. 250.493.1774
