Lillian Dora (Matthies) MacRae

MacRae, Lillian Dora neé Matthies of Summerland died peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the age of 76 years.

Lillian is survived and dearly missed by her husband Malcom, her son Kevin, and many other loving family members and friends.

Born in Saskatoon on September 29, 1941, she and her siblings grew up wholesome on the farm. Lillian went on to marry the love of her life, ‘Mac’ on June 29, 1963. 13 years later came Kevin and her world was complete. They moved to the Okanagan to raise their family. Lillian was an extremely loving and devoted wife and mother every day of her life. The family’s favourite vacation was summers spent with the Chilliwack family in Osoyoos.

Lillian was always on the go, quick witted and friendly to everyone.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the 9111 Orchard Drive, Summerland. Memorial donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the BC Cancer Agency, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.
