Marcia Jane Ruan Young

We are celebrating the life of Marcia Jane Ruan Young. Marcia passed away on December 24, 2018 at the age of 76, after a long struggle with kidney disease.

Marcia was born on January 20, 1942 in Penticton to Alma and Jack Young. She lived most of her life in the Penticton/Summerland area and was well-known as a music teacher, pianist, volunteer, dedicated parent, and friend to many.

She is survived by her partner Lloyd Billsborough and her daughters Kelly Dunsdon (Albert Rode) and Nicole Dunsdon (Greg Fulmes). She was a proud grandparent of  Spencer, Lindsay, and Harrison Kryczka and Daniel Smith. She also leaves behind several well-loved nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Penticton United Church, 696 Main St., Penticton, BC on Monday, January 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception will follow at Providence’s Penticton Chapel, 1258 Main St., Penticton, BC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada BC Branch, 200-4940 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC  V5G 9Z9 would be appreciated.
