Ruth Louise (Davis) Campbell

Ruth Louise Campbell of Summerland, BC passed away with all her family by her side on April 21, 2018 at the age of 94 years.  Ruth will be remembered and sadly missed by her children Darlene (Alan) Forsdick of Summerland, Wayne (Peni) Campbell of Telkwa, BC, and Jim (Yvonne) Campbell of Royston, BC.  Ruth was mom to many other children over the years who lived in and visited the Campbell home.  Along with these, Ruth will also be missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brother Don Davis.  She was predeceased by her husband Douglas, parents Chris and Ruth Davis, and brothers Maynard, John, and Jim Davis.

Ruth was involved in Kiwanis, Girl Guides, teaching Sunday School, and working at Daniel’s Grocery in Lower Summerland for many years.  Ruth’s home was always open to children needing love and care. 

At Ruth’s request there will be a family gathering and celebration of her life at a later date.
