Son of David Balser and Victoria Cantin Balser, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the young age of 43, in Penticton, British Columbia. He is survived by his father David Balser; mother Victoria Balser; wife Katherine Balser; daughter Isabella Balser. Steven was a loving man with a large heart and very big dreams. He had a way with words that could be poetic and beautiful or straight to the point and blunt. He loved his position with Cascades Casino, and the people he worked with; they were his second family. His quest for the unknown and his passion for discovery will never be forgotten. He was truly one of a kind and will be sadly missed, not only by his family but also by all those that have known him. A celebration of his life will take place on February the 5th at 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Matches Roof Top, located in Cascades Casino in Penticton, British Columbia. Should family and friends desire, in lieu of flowers and donations, a memory or story of Steven would be greatly appreciated, so that this can be passed along to his daughter as a keepsake.
