ANTONIO DALLA GASSA

Antonio (Tony) Dalla Gassa, of Penticton, BC, passed away on August 17, 2019. Tony was born July 21, 1935 in Arzignano, Vicenza, Veneto, Italy.  He immigrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada in March 1957, flying from Belgium to New York and entering Canada through Montreal.

He married Brenda Girardi in 1962 (2017), they had three children:  Tina, Lino and Jana. He remarried Maria Dalla Gassa .  Tony was a cement mason by trade and one of the shareholders of United Concrete Ltd. and Astra Concrete Ltd. in the 1970s and 1980s.  He was a member of Local #919 of the Plasterers, Cement Masons & Shop Hands Union.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Tony is predeceased by his father Giuseppe Dalla Gassa (1991), mother Maria Antonia (Selmo) Dalla Gassa (1983), his siblings Ferruccio (1953) Luigi (Gemma) (1976), Rosa Graziella (Giuseppe – deceased 2018) (2008) and Giovanni (Maria) (2009) his w.

He is survived by his brothers Lino (Bruna – deceased 2015) in Arzignano and Francesco (Rita) in Torino, his three children and stepdaughter Patricia; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
