Andrew Thomas passed away in Oliver, BC on August 21, 2021 at the age of 41 years.
He was born in Calgary on April 30, 1980, lived in Edmonton and Grande Prairie, Alberta, but he called Oliver home.
Andrew was a good man who loved his cats, Uutinni, Artoo and Greedo. He would spend his days on his BMX which he rode to Osoyoos and back to Oliver in order to see his favorite band, Origin.
Over the years he made many friends during his time in Edmonton. He was the lead singer of the death metal band 'Bludgeon'.
When Andrew moved back to Grande Prairie in his late 20s, he started to work in the bar scene, where he met many of his lifelong friends whom he loved very dearly.
In his late 30's, when he relocated to Oliver, he found a love for landscaping. Every morning he would say "let us slay this day" to his co-workers.
Music was a big part of Andrew’s life – mainly metal but sometimes you could catch him listing to Sublime. Andrew loved his Mother and his family and always kept a close friend or two.
He will be missed by family and many friends who called him brother until we meet again.
And May Force Be With You...
Andrew is survived by his father, Don Godard and brother, Jesse Gagnon; his cats, Artoo and Greedo and many friends who were his family. Andrew is predeceased by his mother, Corinne Joy Thomas Godard and his best friend, Uutinni.
