Blanche Helen (Beaton) Golke

Blanche Helen Golke, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend passed into the presence of Jesus on May 17, 2020 at 88 years of age.  She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children:  Deborah Stewart, Randall (Katherine) Scott, Donna (Rick) Odell, Brady (Gloria) Scott, and Becky (Gerald) Marsh; as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her living siblings Verna Busby, June-Howlett Emslie, and Frank Beaton have expressed their deep sorrow and loss as well.  Her dear and best friend Judy, for over thirty years, was a constant source of love and encouragement.

Helen is well remembered for speed walking around Summerland daily and for all the years she lived here.  She enjoyed tap dancing well into her senior years and was still yodelling for all who asked, up until a month before her passing.  She dearly loved her family and was proud of their every accomplishment.  Her greatest wish was that all of her family and loved ones would spend eternity with her in heaven with Jesus, her beloved Saviour and friend.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
