Dale Loree (Atkins) Piper

Dale Loree Piper (Atkins) passed away peacefully at Moog & Friends Hospice on May 17, 2023.

She was predeceased by Raymond, her husband of over 50 years as well as her parents Viola and Carlyle (Pop) Atkinds and her two brothers Guy and Verne.

Dale was born on May 28, 1938, in Lethbridge Alberta. She moved to Penticton in 1944. After graduating from Pen-Hi she left to attend nursing school. She met Raymond in 1958 in Fort Langley where they married and started a family. She returned to Penticton where she raised her 3 children Joanne LeBlue (Stan) Jeffrey Piper (Brigitte) and Jacquie Olexa (Andy). She had 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and was thrilled when she became a great grandmother to Avery.

She became very involved with Brownies and the I.O.F. She loved bowling and was a charter member of the Whale Watchers. She worked at Haven Hill for almost 30 years.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care her daughter-in-law, Brigitte, gave her the last 3 years. It was the best care. No service by request.
