Doreen Marjorie (Scott) Forrest

Doreen Marjorie Forrest passed away peacefully at home January 2, 2020 at the age of 99 years.  She will be remembered and sadly missed by children Diane Peterson and Donna (Mark) Ruggaber, both of Summerland, BC and Scott (Tikka) Forrest and Richard Forrest, both of Nanaimo, BC; grandchildren Blaine (Pam) Peterson, Jeff (Shelly) Peterson, Tammy (Dion) Grimm, Jody Ruggaber, Mitchell Forrest, Stewart (Carreen) Forrest, Linden Forrest, and Marshall Forrest; 11 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Dorothy Scott.  She was predeceased by parents Alfred and Edith Scott, brother Lawrence Scott, and husband Albert Forrest.

Over her many years, Doreen enjoyed bowling, knitting, bridge, cards, bingo, and family.  She was well loved by all her friends and family.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Summerland Drop In Centre, 9710 Brown Street, Summerland, BC.
