Dorothea Louise Lodomez

Lodomez, Dorothy October 4, 1927 ~ March 8, 2018

Dorothy (Dot) Lodomez passed away peacefully at Moog and Friends Hospice House on March 8, 2018. Born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan in 1927 she is survived by her daughter Linda North and son Blaine Lodomez. She deeply loved and enjoyed her grandchildren; Jason, Ryan, Shannon and Alexander. Predeceased by her husband Ernie Lodomez in 1986 and by her brothers; Harold, Bill, and John Waterman(s) and her sister Elsie Downey.  During her 60 + years in Penticton she was involved with the Independent Order of Foresters, who honored her with Mother of The Year 1971~1972. She was also an active member of the Red Cross Society, A member of the Legion, and enjoyed volunteering at the IronMan and various other events. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to the Red Cross Society. A Celebration of Life will be held at Providence Funeral Homes, 1258 Main Street, Penticton on Monday March 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
