Elinor Ruth Reum

The family of Elinor Reum of Kaleden, BC is saddened to announce her passing on August 16, 2023, at the age of 67 years.

Elinor is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rod; daughters, Kristy (Brooks), Tara (Robb) and Rachel (Troy); grandchildren, Kailey, Callum, Olivia, Naomi, Nora, Tyson and Riley; mother, Muriel Wookey; mother-in-law, Elaine Reum; siblings, Gordon (Heather), Pat (Ray), Greg (Rhonda) and Doug (Tuesday) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Rev. Anthony Wookey (2017) and her father-in-law, Arnold Reum (2023).

Elinor was all about family and loved to do things for them, especially to feed them. Large turkey meals were her favourite no matter the season. She also lived for her grandchildren and as a strong Christian woman, she prayed for each one by name each day. She allowed God to shine through her constantly, praising and thanking Him until her last breath on this earth.

A Celebration of Elinor’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Penticton Alliance Church at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of other tributes, donations in Elinor’s memory are welcome to the Penticton Alliance Church.
