Elizabeth Ruttan Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Ann Ruttan (nee Woodworth) in Penticton, BC. She was born on April 28, 1937 and lost her battle with cancer on June 5, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Patricia, Gordon (Audrey), Doug (Emily), Carol (Shane), Tracey (Lenny); 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, John & Beryl; brother, Donald; and husband Albert.

Liz was a talented seamstress and quilter winning many awards. She was musically talented with bagpipes and piano and enjoyed her involvement with the Revelstoke and Golden Vintage Car Clubs.

She will be missed by her Girl Guides of Canada Trefoil Guild and her many friends from Burnaby Gardens, especially Verna.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Moog and Friends Hospice for the excellent care she received.
