Elizabeth Florence Waite

Elizabeth Florence Waite passed away peacefully on July 5, 2023 at the age of 76 years.

Sadly, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Russell Waite.

Though Elizabeth is not survived by any blood relatives, she is remembered lovingly by her goddaughter, Heidi, along with multiple friends. Betty was an avid animal lover, with miniature Schnauzers being her main focus. She trained all of her mini-Schnauzers to be service dogs and was awarded with The Order of St. John for her volunteer work with her service dogs in 2010.

Betty will always be remembered for her wicked sense of humor, big smiles and laugh, and her ability to talk to anyone. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and she will always be remembered of fondly by those who knew her.

As per Betty's final wishes, a donation will be made in her name to the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals (Penticton SPCA branch). Please consider making a donation in her memory.
