Enid Dorn Obituary

Enid passed away peacefully on Nov. 5, 2022, at the age of ninety-seven. She was pre-deceased by husband Roland and daughter-in-law Cathy, and leaves behind sons Adrian and John (Laurinda), grandchildren Matthew, Adrienne (Brian), Travis, John-Paul and Lucas (Kirsten) and great-granddaughter Molly. Enid was born in Ipswich, England and came to Canada as a War Bride in 1946 to join her husband Roland in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. When he retired, they moved to Summerland in 1983 to an orchard on Giants Head Road. She enjoyed her get togethers with the Summerland War Brides and was an avid knitter and lawn bowler. As the devoted matriarch of the family she will be greatly missed. The family thanks the staff of the Dr. Andrew Pavilion for their dedicated care of Enid. A ceremony will take place later to remember Enid.
