Erik William Espenhain

With deep sorrow, the family of Erik William Espenhain wishes to announce his sudden and peaceful passing on May 30, 2023, at the age of 89.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn (Therrien), along with his children: Michael (Darlene), David (Allena), Donna (Rick) Tiffin, and Sandra. He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss him deeply.

Erik was sadly predeceased by his son, Brian, in 2019.

Erik was born in Rossland, February 2, 1934 where he grew up, raised his family and lived out his retirement years. He and Marilyn recently sold the house they built and moved to Penticton to get away from the snow. To Erik, family activities were his highest priority. His love of the outdoors meant he spent time camping, fishing, hunting, and picking huckleberries.

Interment of ashes will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Rossland at a later date.
