Garnet Frank Nixdorf

Garnet Frank Nixdorf, of Summerland, passed away with his family by his side on February 10, 2020, at the age of 86.  Garnie was born in Gull Lake, Manitoba on September 26, 1933.   Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Paulina Nixdorf, his wife Agnes (nee Davidson) of 57 years,  brothers Clarence and Nelson, and his sister Gerry.  He will be remembered and sadly missed by brothers Gordie (Elaine),  Albert and Gary, sister Cleta Madsen (Les), son Tim (Cindy), stepson William Jones, and stepdaughter Charlene Jones (Chris), and grandchildren William, Brenna, Hannah and Samuel.  Garnie will be missed for his great sense of humour. Everyone had a nickname.  He was known for his love of cars, his drive to succeed, animals and especially his dogs, who were all named Fartsy.  Donations in memory of Garnie may be made to the Agur Lake Camp Society.
