George Davis Obituary

George Thomas Davis passed away with his family by his side May 3, 2018 at the age of 70 years.  He will be remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Colleen Davis, children Mathew (Tiffany) Davis of Burnaby, BC and Taryn Davis (Justin Brown) of Summerland, BC; grandchildren Konnor, Kayson, and Kinley; and siblings Lewy (Lori) Davis of Burnaby, BC, Reg (Toni) Davis of Lake Cowichan, BC, Bev (Sean) Imrie of Galiano Island, BC, Peter Kaushakis of Abbotsford, BC, Kathleen (Lloyd) Burton of Creston, BC, and Monica Bailie of Wales.

George loved life to the fullest.  His zest for adventure and life was contagious.  He had a great sense of humor and wit.  He was an amazing entrepreneur.  His business successes were many from making windows in his early 20’s through to building and running La Punta Norte with his never ending ability to fix things.  We were all enriched to have George in our lives and will remember him for his wonderful smile and how graciously he treated everyone.  He will be greatly missed.

George’s Celebration of Life will be held on May 26, 2018 at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at La Punta Norte Guest Inn, 365 Hwy 97 North, Summerland, BC.
