Gerald Edward Robson

Gerald ‘Pudge’ Robson passed away with his wife at his side Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the age of 85 years.  His jovial and chatty nature along with his big smile will be missed by his wife Joy Campbell, son Darren Robson, daughter Darci Robson, sister Phyllis Olsen, brother-in-law Jim Olsen, grandchildren, and nieces.  He was sadly predeceased by his brother Thomas Robson and sister-in-law Louise Robson.

Pudge was born and raised in Dauphin, MB where his family ran a garage and dealership for many years.  In his mid-twenties, he moved to the Okanagan, became a partner in a service station, and volunteered for the Penticton Fire Hall.  He eventually set up shop as owner of Robson Electric in Summerland.  A sports enthusiast, Pudge was accomplished at curling and bowling in his younger years and became an avid skier later on.  He was known for being friendly, hard-working, and happy to share a story and a laugh.

Pudge’s Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Providence’s Summerland Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC.  The interment will follow on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Midway Municipal Cemetery.
