Gladelia Floresca Prpich

She has joined her Creator on January 16, 2018 at the age of 56. She is remembered and sadly missed by her brothers & sisters:  Amado Flauta Sr., Teodoro Flauta, Librada Flauta-Jorial and spouse Jose Jorial, Abraham Flauta and spouse Mernie Flauta, all of Midsayap, Cotabato Philippines and Clarita Flauta-Ramos of Penticton, BC.  She’s also remembered and fondly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, step-children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.  Gladys was predeceased by her parents, Agrifino and Asuncion Floresca-Flauta, her husband Dan Prpich, as well as her brother Charlie Flauta, Rudolfo Flauta and sister-in-laws: Angelina Corpuz-Flauta and Judith Princesa-Flauta.  And also her nieces: Emma Jorial-Galvez and Nimfa Ramos, her nephew: Amado Flauta, Jr. She has worked as Public Health Midwife for a long time in the Philippines before she came to Canada where she met Dan.  She loved to crochet, garden and cook. The viewing and prayer service will be held on January 22, 2018 at 7:00pm and funeral mass will be held on January 23, 2018 at 10:30 am At St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church at 361 Wade Ave. West, Penticton BC V2A 1V2 with Rev. Fr. Rex M. Velmonte as officiating priest. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Penticton BC.  Reception will follow at St. John Vianney Hall, Penticton, BC.
