Jack Morris Obituary

Jack Morris died on October 29, 2023 at the age of 81 years. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife Barbara, children: Chris Morris (Debbie) of Fort Saskatchewan , AB, Danielle Gibson (Dave) of Abbotsford, BC, and T.J. Morris (Corinne) of Sherwood Park, AB, and grandchildren Chelsea, Allyssa, Levi, Mercedes, and Liam, as well as brother Fred Morris (Jean) of Niagara Falls, ON. Jack was sadly predeceased by his parents Stanley and Evelyn Morris, and his sister Daryl Carter.

Jack or ‘the Grubb’ as he was known by some close friends, was an inventory control clerk by profession. But his true loves were slow-pitch softball and 10 pin bowling. He also loved to dance, especially to big band music. Jack was a unique individual who will be remembered for his quick wit. His surly and curmudgeonly personality belied his loving, caring soul. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a private family gathering in the summer of 2024.
