Karl Jensen

On Thursday, January 30, 2020 Karl Jensen of Oliver, BC passed away at the age of 96 years.

He will be missed by all his canine cookie friends and especially by his special friend, Toby. Karl is survived by his chosen family; daughter, Florence; grandchildren, Laura, Patrick, Michael (Natasha), Cindy (Rod), Susan (Rob), Bobby, Brenda, Melodie (Gary), Ronnie (Ethel), Norman (Det), Rae (Lorna), April and Dorell (Hugh); many adoring great-grandchildren; one grand-niece in Denmark; his wonderful neighbours, Lee and Sharon; relatives and good friends in North America and Denmark.

He is predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Eleanor; sons, Ron, Bob, Donald and Fraser; daughter, Helen; grandchildren, Bob and Gordon.

For many years Karl and Eleanor enjoyed the outdoors and had many fine memories together camping and travelling. Karl was known for his letter writing. Very interesting in English and Danish. He had pen pals around the world and faithfully sent birthday cards and special holiday cards to his family and friends. They will be missed! He was a skilled gardener and loved his flower beds. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at a future date.
