Lilas Jean McCallum

Jean McCallum passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023, at the age of 90 Years.

Born on April 29th, 1932, in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, her Dad was Norman, her Mom was Lily, and her Brother was Jack.

At the young age of 14, she started working at Manitoba Telephone System. Years later, she became a supervisor there.

Jean had never married or had children. She was an amazing Daughter to her Mom who passed away at age 93.

They were always up for an adventure in their motorhome. Off they would go with family and friends all through Canada or the States.

She moved to the sunny Okanagan in 2004. I believe it was so she wouldn’t have to plow the snow for seven months of the year.

Jean loved red wine, chocolate, ice cream, and chatting with her Cousin Gordon on the phone.

Family and friends loved her crazy sense of humour.

She was generous with her love; she will be missed!
