Marie Daniels Obituary

It with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie T. Daniels of Summerland.

Born September 19, 1925 in Dublin, Ireland, she married Edward Gordon Daniels in 1946, returning to Canada as one of the many War Brides.

Gordon and Marie lived in Revelstoke, Kemano, North Vancouver, Crofton, Duncan, Victoria and finally Summerland.

She is survived by her sister Edna Brinkworth; her offspring, Pat Harris, Carol Calado, Beth Tillberg, Pete Daniels, and John Daniels; 15 grandchildren: Brandye, Breanden, Devan, Elizabeth, Francis, James, Kathleen, Kelly, Lindsay, Mandy, Megan, Rachel, Sara, Sten, and William; and 11 great-grandchildren: Abby, Avery, Elliot, Ember, Gigi, Grace, Niklas, Matthais, Madison, Reed, and Sylvia.

Marie passed, peacefully in her sleep, on Friday May 7, 2021 at the age of 95.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, no service is planned at this time.

Marie will be interned at Canyon View Cemetery along side her husband, Gordon.

She is now with Gordon and her eldest son, Michael. Til we meet again!
