OFFICIAL OBITUARY FOR

Mary Anne De Colle

OBITUARY Print

Mary Anne De Colle was delivered into the arms of Jesus on April 1st 2021 after a valiant fight with cancer these past short months.  She was a loving wife to Ed, mother to Sean and Chelsea, grandmother to Maddie, a dedicated nurse and friend, but most of all a wonderful, kind hearted lady who never failed to give more than she received. She had a fantastic sense of humor and was fiercely protective and caring. Her laughter will always be remembered and her ironic sense of timing is not lost to us. She touched so many lives and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Goodbye to your sweet sensitive spirit. We see you Shining down us. You are part of us forever and will never be forgotten.

Mary Anne was the friend to all who came in contact with her. The care-giver and aide when, even after her retirement came she held the opinion that ‘no person should suffer.’ A beautiful soul, a generous and giving spirit. Her honest notes and candour always made sure you would pay attention when she spoke of what was most important in any conversation.
Her patience and attitude of ‘well, this will pass sooner than you might think’ was what kept everyone she loved inspired.
Bless you, Mary Anne.

My sincerest thoughts go out to MaryAnn,'s family. I also worked at Penticton Regional Hospital and MaryAnn's and my path would cross from time to time in our work places. . I would also bump into MaryAnn up in Summerland and always a friendly hello..  Sinccerely    Cathy Grewcutt (Caldwell )

My sincerest sympathies go out to you Ed, Sean, Chelsea and Maddie.  Mary Anne and I were co-workers at Penticton Regional Hospital then co-volunteers with the Summerland Fall Fair and the Senior’ Wellness Centre in our retirements.  I so enjoyed partnering and serving alongside my friend. She had a big heart and radiated sincerity.  You  all were her joy and her stories sparkled with her laughter and love.
Sincerely,
