Melva Austin Obituary

Melva Myrtle Austin passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021, at 90 years of age. Melva had a wonderful zest for life that was infectious. She loved to sing and dance and laugh. She was the life of the party! She was a talented pianist. Her and her husband Gord, entertained many great, appreciative audiences both in Ontario and in BC.

Melva was born on a farm in Silverdale, Ontario, the youngest of 5. She loved to tell people she was strong because she was from good farm stock.
She loved her family, and they all knew it. Not just because she said it, but because her actions spoke volumes.

Predeceased by her husband Gordon, her son Gary (Cheryl), and her brother Hollis. Melva leaves behind her son Murray from St. Catharines, ON, her daughter Heather and Blair from Summerland, two Grandsons, Kurtis (Kindree) and Tyler (Kaitlin), and great granddaughter Avery.
