Noreen Johnson Obituary

Noreen Viola Johnson passed away May 10, 2020 at the age of 91 years, two days before her birthday. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband Oscar; children Gary Johnson (Karen) of Kimberley and Linda Harcott (Ken) of Penticton; grandchildren Michael, Melanie (Pat), Matthew, and Derek (Erin); and great grandchildren Finley, Henna, Aurora and Gideon. She will also be dearly missed by Owen, Nixon, Audrey, George, and many others from her loving, extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Noreen, known as ‘Sweet Cheeks’ to Oscar and ‘Super Nana’ to the great grandkids, loved her family foremost. She cooked, sewed, knitted, and crocheted (everyone has blankets!) for them. She made numerous moves following her husband’s work, a feat of which she was very proud. She enjoyed golfing, curling, fishing, and playing cards. She truly was ‘Super’!

A Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held at her beloved home on Christina Lake.
