Pamela (June) Carter

It is with great sadness that the family of Pamela (June) Carter announce her passing on September 19, 2020 in West Kelowna at the age of 86.

June was born in London, England on June 22, 1934. She was raised in Ashtead, Surrey, England where she met her husband Douglas Carter. They moved to North Vancouver, Canada in 1960 where they raised their three children and eventually made their way to Kelowna in 1990. June was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always putting her family and friends first. One of her greatest passions was her love for animals, if she could adopt every animal she would. She was a proud supporter of the OK Small Dog Rescue, the SPCA and volunteered her time with the Kelowna and Westbank Lioness’ where she met many good friends and enjoyed their many fundraising events.

June will be lovingly missed by her children Jacquelyn (Darrell), Russell (Nicole), Greg (Laura); grandchildren Alysha, Lauren (Tim), Sean, James; great grandchildren Sawyer and Jaxon. June will be greatly missed by everyone but will remain in our hearts forever. June was predeceased by her parents and husband Douglas Carter.

At June’s request there will be no service.
